NUST faculty member wins 7th FPCCI Achievement Award- 25th July, 2019

The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) awarded the 7th FPCCI Achievement Award to Mr. Saheeb Ahmed Kayani, Assistant Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering, NUST College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering (CEME). The award was presented to Mr. Kayani by Dr.Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan, at a ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad, on 25th July 2019, in the category of Scientific and Industrial Research for the indigenous development of fleshing and shaving blades used in leather tanneries. The technology is licensed out to the local industry for production and usage of leather fleshing and shaving blades.
