Why Tech Transfer

With the advent of digital era, research domains have increased manifolds. Universities have become a central hub to initiate research in these areas and thousands of papers are published each year. Despite having abundance of novel ideas and innovative solutions, industries get least benefit from it. The technology developed remains confined to the tech demonstrators and is not deployed on mass scales. Technology transfer helps to bridge this gap and to disseminate solutions form universities to the global market. For the developing countries like Pakistan, technology transfer also is a key driver of economy and small/medium scaled businesses.
